The ingredients needed to make Roasted Jalapenos:
  1. Make ready 24 Jalapenos, cut lengthwise with ribs and seeds removed
  2. Take 1 1/2 C. Chive and onion Cream cheese
  3. Prepare 2 C. Hot jalapeno and habanero Jack shredded cheese
  4. Make ready 3 Fresh green onions, finely diced
  5. Take 2 tsp. Onion powder
  6. Make ready 12 pieces bacon, crisp and finely chopped
  7. Make ready Red pepper flakes
  8. Make ready Salt and pepper
Steps to make Roasted Jalapenos:
  1. Cook bacon according to directions on pkg. Transfer to paper towels to cool. Finely chop.
  2. Cut off tops of jalapenos, slice lengthwise and remove seeds and ribs.
  3. In small bowl mix together cream cheese, 1 1/2 C. shredded cheese, green onions, onion powder and bacon. Salt and pepper to taste
  4. Fill halved jalapenos with cream cheese mixture. Top with remaining cheese and red pepper flakes.
  5. Place in oven and roast for 15-20 min. Or until cheese gets browned and bubbly. Enjoy!
