Before you jump to Inari Sushi recipe, you may want to read this short interesting healthy tips about Suggestions For Living Green And Saving Money Within the Kitchen.

Until fairly recently any individual who portrayed concern about the destruction of the environment raised skeptical eyebrows. That has fully changed now, since we all seem to have an awareness that the planet is having troubles, and we all have a part to play in fixing it. Unless everyone begins to start living more green we won’t be able to correct the problems of the environment. These adjustments need to start taking place, and each individual family needs to become more environmentally friendly. Here are a few tips that can help you save energy, mainly by making your kitchen area more green.

Let’s begin with something really easy, changing the light bulbs. Complete this for your house, not just the kitchen. Compact fluorescent lightbulbs are generally energy-savers, and you will need to use them instead of incandescent lights. These bulbs are usually energy-efficient which means electricity consumption is lower, and, even though they cost a bit more to buy, will outlast an incandescent light ten times over. One of the extras is that for every one of these lightbulbs used, it means that approximately ten normal lightbulbs less will end up at a landfill site. You also have to obtain the habit of turning off the lights when there is nobody in a place. In the kitchen is where you’ll usually discover members of a family, and often the lights usually are not turned off until the last person goes to bed. Obviously this also happens in other rooms, not simply the kitchen. Do an exercise if you like; check out the amount of electricity you can save by turning the lights off as soon as you don’t need them.

From the above it should be apparent that just in the kitchen, by itself, there are lots of little opportunities for saving energy and money. Environmentally friendly living is not really that tough. It’s related to being functional, most of the time.

We hope you got benefit from reading it, now let’s go back to inari sushi recipe. You can cook inari sushi using 7 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you do that.

The ingredients needed to cook Inari Sushi:
  1. Take steamed rice
  2. Take rice vinegar
  3. Get salt
  4. Provide furikake (I used wakame and egg type. You can substitute this with other furikake, beef/chicken floss, etc.)
  5. Take Shredded chicken for the filling (you can also use tuna, egg, kani, etc.)
  6. Prepare Sesame seeds for topping
  7. Use ready-to-use inari age (fried tofu pouched immersed in sweet shoyu)
Instructions to make Inari Sushi:
  1. Mix rice with salt, rice vinegar, and furikake. Stir occasionally until well combined.
  2. Wet your hands and form a ball. Flatten it and put chicken or another filling inside. Wrap the filling with more rice if necessary and insert into an inari age.
  3. Repeat the process for the remaining ingredients.
  4. Sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Inarizushi is technically sushi, but it is not something you order at nice sushi restaurants. It is easily found at supermarket delis, but, as you know, home made is the best. Inari Sushi is a popular dish in Japan along with nigiri sushi (nigirizushi - hand-pressed sushi that you find at sushi trains). It is particularly popular among children. I mentioned in my post Quick Inari Sushi (Inarizushi) that there are two different shapes of Inarizushi - squarish oval shape and triangle shape.
