- To make the suya spice; mix all the above mentioned ingredients together and set aside. Soak the skewers in water for a while. This is to prevent them from burning while grilling the meat. Use a sharp knife to slice the beef into thin flat pieces. This step is very important as it allows the meat to cook faster.
- Thread the meat pieces into the skewers.
- Add seasoning and salt to the suya spice mix and sprinkle a generous amount all over the skewered meat. Use a kitchen brush to coat every part of the meat with vegetable oil
- Preheat the grill. Transfer the meat to the wire rack of the oven and grill until the meat is tender. This will take between 35-40 minutes depending on your oven.
